Fans of Asante Kotoko took to Twitter Spaces this week to express their frustrations with the club’s recent string of poor performances. The online forum, hosted by passionate supporters, featured a lively discussion with key figures: Asuo Gyebi, Sis Yaakyere, Kay, Obeng Akrofi, Fab Cury, Pastor Prince, and Krobea.
Asuo Gyebi kicked off the conversation by highlighting the fans’ collective disappointment. “This isn’t the Kotoko we know and love,” he lamented. Sis Yaakyere echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the lack of clear strategy and questionable player selection that have plagued the team
Kay offered a more measured take, urging fans to focus on the technical lapses associated with Coach Ogum’s second stint with the Club. Obeng Akrofi, added that performances haven’t shown enough promise to warrant blind faith.
The spotlight inevitably fell on the Manhyia. Fab Cury pointed the finger at the Palace, suggesting a lack of direction from the top. Pastor Prince, called for a more unified approach, urging fans to get behind the call to get a good management for the club.
The Twitter Space served as a valuable platform for Asante Kotoko fans to vent their frustrations and share their concerns. Whether the club heeds the calls for change remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: the passionate fanbase won’t stay silent for long.
